Sweet Teagan... I just realized I start every newborn blog like that. :/
Any who, after laughing and enjoying our time frolicking through the wildflowers through out Melissa and Steve's maternity session, I was so stoked to hear she wanted in invite me into their home to document the new little bundle of joy. While there, I realized Melissa and I are pretty much the same person, but in different bodies.
She likes records, I like records. She like gold and white in a nursery, I like gold and white in a nursery. She likes personal homemade touches on all home decor, I like personal homemade touches on all home decor.
The only thing that set us apart was her "comfortability" with brand new Teagan. I was a hot mess when Walker was born. Always worried and over protective. I could feel sweat beading up on my forehead every time he would fuss or even at times, just make a little peep. Not this momma; Melissa is so natural and laid back, ever changing through each unpredictable minute of our session. Teagan would fuss (okay, only for like a total of twelve seconds), and Melissa would just pick her up, care-free. She never hesitated to switch bows or just let Teagan lay there while she took care of a few bites of her egg sandwich (that Steve made her, without being asked I might add).
These two are just as I imagined them being as parents: care free and fun.
Congratulations on this beauty, Melissa and Steve.
